Tagging system design
I developed a merchandise tagging system that identified products as:
"Signature" stuff designed by one of SVA NYC legendary designers: e.g: Milton Glaser, Stefan Sagmeister, Gail Anderson, Louise Fili, James Victore, Ed Benguiat, George Tscherny... among others.
"Chelsea" Generally a hipper demographic, cutting edge stuff.
"Gramercy" More grown-up, more refined/mature stuff.
"Flat Iron" Vintage look, since SVA began in late 40's stuff.
SVA T Shirts
We designed tons of T Shirts, here are a few that were considered marketable to an artistic student type of audience.
Cool bag design. Big logo, so you could see it in subway, etc.
SVA Puffy Pillows (for online designing and ordering)
When we moved towards a bold cartoonist lettering style (SVA started out as the "Cartoon and Illustrators School") .
I designed pillows that could be designed online by a student by submitting an image that would cover front and back. This is the template for that idea...
Plastic Bag design
This is one of many designs that are on bags with your SVA Campus Store purchase inside.
SVA in Subway Style
This was a very popular design.
SVA Branding students designed MoMA Design Store
Destination NYC— SVA Student powered concepts to help a major NYC Attraction.
SVA Cool Lids
Benguiat "workin' it"
This last hat features legendary type designer Ed Benguiat's overlapping SVA typeforms.
