About

I have had the great fortune to work at some of the best institutions, publishers and creative corporations with some of the world’s greatest designers, editors, writers, photographers, illustrators, filmmakers, fine artists, developers and information technology talent.

I work on publishing projects, website and interactive design, logo and brand design, marketing design, video and motion graphic direction, magazine design and redesign, packaging and product design, exhibition design, signage and informational graphics. My experience has allowed me to become an expert in each stage of the creative process: strategy, editorial, design, production, marketing, and analysis.

For the last 10+ years I have been working at School of Visual Arts in New York City. I was charged with an array of responsibilities: managing Visual Arts Press, the design studio at SVA, which is responsible for a majority of the web entities at the college, design of nearly all printed publications, and marketing recruitment creative strategies and implementation in multiple mediums. SVA NYC is at a record high for applications. I was proud to contribute to the effort of polishing and improving School of Arts image and position as one of the elite cultural institutions in the United States.

I have had the great fortune to work at some of the best institutions, colleges, publishers and creative corporations with some of the world’s greatest marketers, designers, editors, writers, photographers, illustrators, filmmakers, fine artists, developers and information technology talent in the United States.

I work on publishing projects, website and interactive design, logo and brand design, marketing design, video and motion graphic direction, magazine design and redesign, packaging and product design, exhibition design, signage and data visualization. My experience has allowed me to become an expert in each stage of the creative process: strategy, editorial, design, production, marketing, and analysis.

For the last 11+ years I have been working at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
I was charged with an array of responsibilities as Director of Design and Digital Media of Visual Arts Press Ltd., the design studio at SVA. VAPress is responsible for a majority of the web entities at the college, as well as editorial, design and production of nearly all printed publications, marketing and recruitment creative strategies and implementation in multiple mediums. Basically, any type of design, marketing or communication problem was ours to solve for our various clients throughout the administrative and academic departments. I was also responsible for an in-house rebranding of the college in 2013, working closely with Brian Smith and Eric Corriel on implementation of this huge project.

SVA NYC is at a record high for applications and attendance. I am proud to have contributed to the effort of polishing and improving School of Visual Arts image and positioning it as one of the top educational institutions in the United States. Additionally, during these years I was frequently commissioned to work on interactive concepts, app concepts, branding projects and some terrific photography and art books.

I am currently consulting with publishers developing online magazine storytelling concepts, creating brand enhancement design projects to help market online, print and digital products, and continuing my role as a creative leader and problem solver.
